Good Evening I spent this weekend in Christchurch. It was my first time going and as I walked around the City Centre, or what used to be the City Centre (earthquake in feb 2011). I was surprised how it looked 3 years later. The word that kept coming to mind was looking like a war zone (I have never been to a war zone so it is more how it looks in movies or an abandon city). There were empty lots and buildings being pulled down as I walked passed, very slowly I might add. There was new buildings and repaired buildings. There were people around but I think the thing that got to me most was the tag graffiti that was on some ofthe  abandon build

Hi all So 8 days ago I started the 100HappyDays challenge thinking it wouldn't be that hard to do but I have to say I'm struggling a little. A lot of that has to do with the fact the day after I started the challenge my 1 year old cat Archer didn't come home and I still haven't seen or heard of him since. I've gotten to the point of realising that I may never see him again. So I was thinking did I pick the wrong time to start this or is it in fact the best time? It's making me actively look for a moment of happiness each day when I would be more likely to let my sadness take over.... Anyway just a random thought that I figured I might shar
